Ride the Rails for Restoration

Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine & Steam Train 2001 Walnut Street, Ashland, PA, United States

Ride the Rails is a fundraiser that supports the restoration of a Narrow Gauge Locomotive, Lehigh Valley Coal Company #119.  Take a 3/4 mile train journey about the LVCC #123to a destination of indoor/outdoor (tent) catered buffet style dinner with a live band, wine tasting, door prizes, a fire pit and a scenic view of Ashland.

Join us to celebrate anthracite's longest operating mine tour on July 20, 10-5 PM. We will have 70+ crafters, vendors, food trucks, non-profits, pony rides, petting zoo, balloon artist, activities, and music by "The Coal-Fired Ramblers, The Dishonest Fiddlers, & more!!  We will have our regular scheduled Mine Tours & Steam Train Tours in addition to Pioneer Day!
