Year of the Hike with Boy Scouts!

Tired of looking at screens all day and only playing video games with your friends? Then consider joining Scouting today!

Come explore the beauty of this part of Pennsylvania on one (or more) of the hikes Columbia-Montour Council BSA is sponsoring for youth who are interested in learning more about Scouting. You’re invited to hike with your family, friends and siblings. Scouts will be available at each hike to provide information about the program, applications and a list of Packs, Troops, and Crews in the area.

Show up in the morning or afternoon, anytime within the following time ranges, whatever works for you.

Weiser Forest District

• Sat., Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Montour Preserve

• Sat., Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • 374 Preserve Rd, Danville, PA 17821

Ricketts Glen State Park

• Sun., Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Susquehanna Riverlands

• Sun., Oct. 17 from 1-5 p.m.

Join scouting between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31, 2021, and you will be eligible for a free hiking stick! Current Scouts can also earn a free hiking stick by successfully recruiting a friend.
