Explore the remarkable world of snowshoe hares with the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Kelly Gallo at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, in the auditorium of Montour Preserve’s Environmental Education Center. Kelly Gallo, an environmental education specialist, will lead a family-friendly presentation, “The Pennsylvania Snowshoe Hare: A Master of Seasonal Survival,” offering insights into the species’ unique adaptations, habitat needs and the conservation efforts underway to protect this elusive resident of northern Pennsylvania forests.
