Second Annual Susquehanna Watershed Festival

The Second Annual Susquehanna Watershed Festival is Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm at Briar Creek Lake Park near Berwick. This free event is sponsored by the Columbia County Conservation District and the area watershed associations (Fishing Creek Watershed Association, Briar Creek Association for Watershed Solutions, Roaring Creek Valley Conservation Association, Catawissa Creek Restoration Association).

Dozens of state environmental agencies and non-profits will have booths with interactive educational displays. In addition to fishing and demonstrations about the aquatic life in the lake, there will be live music, games, a scavenger hunt, prizes and raffles. There is no charge for entry or parking and food trucks will be available for food purchases.
