Monarch Butterflies: An Incredible Journey

September 25, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

FREE

One of the most recognizable butterflies is the orange and black Monarch butterfly. Monarch butterflies migrate south for the winter each year—a distance up to 3,000 miles! How do these fragile insects do it? In this program, we’ll explore this unique feat of nature. Plus, we’ll learn why monarchs are threatened, how we can help and then wrap up our time by creating a symbolic butterfly migration of our own.
