Come celebrate Colonel Jackson’s 183rd birthday with special Civil War tours at the Jackson Mansion in Berwick!
Costumed Civil War themed tours will be given at the Jackson Mansion every hour from 11:00 – 4:00 on March 22nd and March 23rd. The 149th Pennsylvania Bucktails Volunteer Infantry will be doing a free, live encampment, drills, and fife and drum demonstrations on the lawn of the Jackson Mansion. Come and see living history! After your tour, come across the street to the Berwick Historical Society headquarters, The David A. Sadock House for a free tour, birthday cake, and punch.
Regular Tour Rates apply: $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $10 for Berwick Area Residents, $7.50 for students, children, and Berwick Historical Society Members. Free for Life Members.
Tickets can be purchased at the Ross & Boone Gift Shoppe on the day of the tours or by calling the Gift Shoppe at 570-520-4110. Since this event is also the reopening of the Ross & Boone Gift Shoppe for the season, you will need to leave a message about tour tickets, and someone will call you back on Tuesday or Wednesday.
We hope you will come celebrate with us!
