Williamsport-based blues artist Gabe Stillman will kick off the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble Presented Event series on January 2nd and 3rd, 2026 at 7:30 PM.

Stillman, who came up through the Uptown Music Collective music school in Williamsport, has gained a strong local and national fanbase. His album, Just Say The Word, debuted at #10 on the Billboard Chart for US Blues Albums and earned a Blues Music Awards nomination for Best Emerging Artist Album.

“There a lot of great guitarists and songwriters out there, but you’ll search high and low for anyone more focused and forthright than Gabe Stillman who’s still in his mid-20s but already a proven talent with few peers,” said music critic Marty Gunther in Blues Blast Magazine.

BTE Interim Managing Director Cynthia Schultz said she is proud to support a local rising star. Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble is an ensemble theatre company, meaning its artists are permanent staff and primarily responsible for shaping the theatre’s main stage productions each season. Through the Presented Event series, BTE hosts performances by outside artists at its Alvina Krause theatre.
