Birds of Prey Day

Spend some time with Darwin, Reptiland’s great horned owl! Pose for a picture and ask our animal experts questions about this beautiful bird. Get an up-close look at the impressive peregrine falcon and chat with master falconer Michael Kuriga about falcons and other birds of prey. And experience several species of raptors with Cheri Heimbach of Baywings Falconry! Cheri will be exhibiting the following birds of prey: European eagle owl, barn owl, screech owl, red-tailed hawk, Harris’s hawk, gyrfalcon, aplomado falcon, and an American kestrel. What a line up!
