A working class soul.
A ten pound steel guitar.
A voice dripping with nostalgia.
Nick Andrew Staver has emerged as a captivating American Roots & Blues singer-songwriter from the blue-collar valleys of southern Pennsylvania.
Writing and recording as an independent solo artist the last decade has led to the release of ten albums highlighted by recent releases “Rust Don’t Shine” (2022) and the late-2024 studio album “ROOTS”.
“ROOTS” and “Rust Don’t Shine” display perfect examples of Nick’s versatility between both Folk and Blues songwriting, with colorful lyrics, emotive vocals, and a unique guitar style. Born comfortably within the boundaries of his musical influences, every song seamlessly steps outside the lines to spotlight his personal approach to the two genres that have created his foundation.
Every live performance uncovers parallels between his personal journey and the American experience. Each song further develops the focus on the benefits and struggles that come with small town rural life.
