Enjoy a fun family weekend at the ballpark on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 at Echo Fields in Danville, as the National Club Softball Association’s (NCSA) 2024 North Atlantic Regional women’s fastpitch final four tournament comes to town. Four qualified teams will hit the field Saturday, April 27 starting at 10 AM to battle for NCSA World Series berths.
Teams who have booked their place in the tournament are: St. Bonaventure University (North Atlantic – North Champions), the United States Naval Academy (North Atlantic – South Champions), and local favorites Penn State University (North Atlantic – Central Champions). One additional team will receive an at-large bid based on final season standings.
Teams will open their tournament at Echo Fields (located behind F.Q. Hartman Recreation Area) on Saturday with regional playoff games set for 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM. The North Atlantic Championship game will commence Sunday at 10 AM, with a second “if necessary” game directly following the conclusion of the first game. The regional champion as well as the runner-up team will subsequently move on to play in the NCSA World Series from May 16-19 in Columbus, Georgia.
