Women and Punishment

March 28, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

FREE

Historically, various forms of punishment options have been used when addressing female offenders. The reasoning for the various alternatives is complex; however, analyzing this issue within the framework of intersectionality brings to light problems related to punishment choices and the ever-increasing rate of female imprisonment.

Come share in this compelling dialogue with Dr. Shauntey James to understand the interlocking nature of females and punishment.

This presentation will be a hybrid event. For a link to the virtual event, please send an email to LydiaBloomPL@gmail.com. The link will not be published publicly.
