Veteran’s Day Program at St. Gabriel in the Pines

St. Gabriel in the Pines will be hosting a Veteran’s Day Program.  It will begin at 11:00 am with the ringing of the bell, followed by a 21 gun salute by the Benton VFW.  Going inside, there will be refreshments, with the program beginning at 11:30.  We will have a tribute to WWI Veterans.  Mark Fritz, editor and compiler of WWI “Letters Home” will be giving a presentation of his book.  He will have books available for sale.  Also, the names of all WWI Veterans buried in St. Gabriel Cemetary will be read.  We will also have music, some singing and WWI photos.  Anyone wishing to share stories or memorabilia are more than welcome.  All are welcome.  Hope to see you there.
