Rohrbach’s Farm: Kids Cooking Class Junior

This class is for ages 7 – 10 who are independent workers ready to learn in the kitchen!  Sharon Kerstetter, certified Family Consumer Science teacher will engage kids in making homemade meatballs and peach cobbler.  This class is designed to introduce kids to selecting fresh, local ingredients, and identifying benefits of farm raised beef and fruit.  Sharon will present a demonstration of making homemade tomato sauce.  Students will also learn about kitchen safety and cleanliness.  Kids will come home with recipes and a great start to making homemade foods!
