Have you, your family, or your community been affected by the recent flooding events in Columbia County? Join us for an investigation into recent flooding events in our county! Understand the “hows” and “whys” flooding occurs in our area, ask your most pressing questions & learn about smart, long-term tools we can use to prevent future destruction. Learn what is contributing to these stream impacts, why we aren’t dredging, how you can help, and MORE from experts in the field! Following the presentation, we’ll travel to a nearby site for a real-world look at flooding impacts and methods for restoration.
