Nature in Winter

January 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

FREE

Winter is a harsh time when temperatures reach their lowest point of the year, plants and some animals are
dormant for the season. Food is scarce and winter animals need to rely on adaptations in order to survive. Join us for an indoor program that explores the amazing strategies both plants and animals use to survive the cold, snow and ice of winter. We’ll discuss plant and animal adaptations in general and examine some specific examples.
