Kids Summer Workshop: Homegrown Popcorn

Join 10 year old Grant Chapin for an exciting morning of learning all about homegrown popcorn!  In 2021, Grant started his business “Poppers by Grant” & sold out his first season!  From growing, to harvesting to popping, we will learn what the difference is between Grant’s Poppers & microwave popcorn.  Learn about different popcorn varieties.  We promise you’ll want to POP in for this one! All kids will have a chance to plant & take their own popcorn seed home too.  Ideal for ages 3-10, adult supervision required. $1 per child, no registration necessary. Bring along your lunch or stop by our deli or Big Dan’s BBQ & enjoy our outdoor picnic tables and children’s garden!
