A Trip to the High Desert
January 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pmFREE
When we think of deserts we often picture endless expanses of wind-blown sand. However, the Sonoran Desert in the southwest U.S. is anything but barren. It is full of both plant and animal life adapted to a drier environment. Join us for an exploration of the geology, natural and cultural history of the Sonoran Desert based on a trip in 2018 to explore its wonders. Join us to visit a warm place on a cold winter’s night.
Meet in Environmental Education Center. Presented by: Jon Beam
