TreeFest is a Bloomsburg-area holiday event during which the public is invited to view dozens of Christmas trees decorated by local organizations sponsored by local businesses and individuals. The trees, donated by local growers, are decked out in accord with unique themes that reflect inspiring, and often amusing, takes on Christmas and winter-holiday traditions. At the end of the festival, all trees are donated to local families in need. Over the last 31 years, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble’s annual TreeFest fundraiser has become a popular part of the region’s Christmas celebrations. Over 3,000 people visit TreeFest every year.
In recognition of the challenges we’ve all experienced in 2020, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble is presenting TreeFest as a gift to the community. The regular admission fee of $6 is being waived for any who wishes to visit. However, tickets will be required to permit metered entry required for appropriate social distancing. Traditional entertainment and dining offerings will not be offered in the interest of public health. However, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for our local food cupboard, as well as collecting unwrapped, new toys for Toys For Tots. We are continuing the tradition of our Chance Auction!
