Libby Beiler, owner of Mad About Ewes Fiber Arts, will demystify provisional cast-ons and teach this useful knitting technique on Saturday, August 12 at 12:30pm. Provisional cast-ons are used for tidy folded trims, hems, and when you are playing yarn chicken and don’t know quite how long to knit something. This workshop runs concurrently with the regular Knit & Crochet Meet-Up. Everyone is welcome!
Supplies to brings along:
Crochet hook (size F or G) – average size as opposed to tiny
2 double pointed needles, or a pair of straight needles (size 6,7,or 8)
2 light colors of practice DK or worsted weight yarn
Scissors
