Here Be Dragons (and Damsels)

Well, maybe not fire-breathing dragons or damsels in distress, but rather dragonflies and damselflies. Even though they are not the stuff of mythical tales, these are fascinating insects. Both have been around for over 300 million years! They are as colorful as some birds and butterflies and demonstrate an amazing array of behaviors, not to
mention and unusual life cycle. Join us for a talk and walk to explore these amazing insects. We’ll delve into the natural history, behavior and folklore and observe live dragons and damsels in the wild.
