Local Author and historian Terry Diener will be discussing his book “A Deed of the Foulest Kind” on July 12th. Two Danville citizens, a man and a woman, allegedly poisoned their spouses in 1857, and were hung in the Montour County Jail yard. Were they guilty, or victims? View original documents, including the death warrants, and petitions to pardon one of the accused killers, Mary Twiggs. July 12th at the Boyd House Museum, 19 Bloom St. Danville.
